Your journal says what you did.
Not what you were thinking.

TradeTape records your screen and your voice while you trade — the charts you were reading, the levels you drew, what you were watching as it moved — and files it with the trade you actually took. The reasoning you had at the time stops being something you try to reconstruct afterwards.

How it works

  1. 01

    Record before you enter

Press Ctrl+Shift+R and talk through the setup out loud. It captures the screen as you read it — the chart, the timeframe, the levels you drew, where your cursor went — alongside what you were saying.

  2. 02

    It files itself

The clip uploads on its own and attaches to the trade it belongs to once you import your fills. Nothing to name, tag or file.

  3. 03

    Watch the moment back

Weeks later, open a trade and see the chart you were actually looking at while you hear the reasoning you actually had — not a note you wrote afterwards about what you think happened.

Where this is up to

TradeTape is an invited alpha, and the recorder is Windows only — there is no macOS or Linux build yet. It records your whole primary monitor, so read the Data & Privacy Notice before your first recording: it covers what is captured, who processes it, and how to have all of it deleted.
